Can I get cashback on in store purchases?

The answer is yes!! You can absolutely do that!
And it is supported by some major retailers like, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Cabelas, and more.
In store pickup
In store pickup means purchasing online and then picking up your purchased item in store. Some retailers will also bring the items out to your vehicle.
This can get a little complicated for larger retailers, because there inventory across many locations, and you will need to make sure your desired products are available at the store you have selected.
Process for in store pickup
- Search our site for stores that have a physical location.
- Pick a retailer that carries your product.
- Doing research is ok
- Click through to the cashback site.
- Click through to the retailer from the cashback site. Make sure you see some notification from your selected cashback site
- Find the product that you are interested in.
- Add your products to your cart.
- This part varies by retailer
- But each retailer will have some way to select in store pickup, or ship to store.
- Once the order is complete
- You should receive a order confirm from your selected cashback site.
Ship to Store
Ship to store, the retailer will ship your selected product to a local store. A good example of this is GuitarCenter, and they will do it for free.

Non-typical ways of getting cashback
Normally to get the best cashback rates you would come to cashback fanatic to find the best cashback rates for a given retailer click through and end up on retailer, getting the best possible cashback that you can.
But sometimes that isn't possible, maybe the retailer doesn't have in store purchase, maybe they don't even have a brick and mortar presence. What do you do then?
I am going to tell you, some cashback sites are connected to credit card companies and they are able to give cashback on a purchase that you made in the store. eBates.com is one such cashback site, there are a few more steps in setting your credit card up initially, but once that has been done it is a fairlly straightforward process.
The Cashback Kicker
I call this the cashback kicker because if you have or are able to get a credit card that has cash back as part of it's normal card agreement, you can very easily get an additional 1-5% of cashback for simply making your purchase.
Cashback Credit Cards
Some of the best cards are Capital One Venture and Capital One Venture One cards, Discover Card although it is not accepted in as many places. Most American Express Cards have the ability to add American Express Rewards as an add on. If you are looking for more of a debit card that has cash back, believe it or not, the Paypal debit card has cash back, it is in the 1-2% range but it still has it.
Check back on this article to see the updates, we will be keeping it up to date and adding more retailers that support in store purchases, and adding cashback sites that have ways of providing better cashback rates in a brick and mortar store.
